Social Engagement – Moving Forward Together

In both 2024 and 2025, we once again donated part of our annual donation budget to Doctors Without Borders and German Doctors.

Doctors Without Borders not only provides medical emergency aid worldwide but is also active in the Mediterranean, rescuing people in distress at sea. We particularly appreciate German Doctors because doctors volunteer their time to treat people in need.

Additionally, over 3,000 EUR were raised during the "Web Host of the Year" election, which were donated to various NGOs and associations. As in previous years, our sponsors of the annual "Web Host of the Year" election had the opportunity to support charities of their choice. Thus, over 3,000 EUR were donated to various associations and NGOs for a good cause.

Together with our second platform traucheck.de, we decided – as in previous years – to support Doctors Without Borders and German Doctors with our Christmas donation.

Update 31.12.2025 – At the end of 2025, we once again donated to Doctors Without Borders and German Doctors. We are pleased to continue supporting this important work.

At the end of 2021, there was hope for an end to the pandemic and a 'normal' 2022. Unfortunately, things turned out quite differently due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the resulting price spikes in essential food items like wheat.

Therefore, we were particularly challenged this year and supported Doctors Without Borders and German Doctors with their aid programs in Ukraine and worldwide.

As in previous years, we allowed our sponsors of the annual 'Web Host of the Year' election to support charities of their choice in addition to the prizes of equal value. Thus, over 3.000 EUR were raised for a good cause, which were donated to various associations and NGOs.

This year, as in previous years, we decided to support Doctors Without Borders and German Doctors with our Christmas donation together with our second platform traucheck.de.

What a year! There is hardly any other way to describe the past year.

Nevertheless, we are pleased that a certain normality returned in late summer and we were able to successfully hold the 2020 Web Host of the Year election, for which we collected over 13,800 votes. We are also pleased that our comparisons were the right and quick point of contact for hosting enthusiasts during the crisis.

As the crisis is likely to continue, we are currently planning to include further comparisons, such as video and cloud hosting.

This year, we decided together with our second platform traucheck.de to support Doctors Without Borders with our Christmas donation.

The year now coming to an end was one of the most successful since our platform was founded. We are therefore particularly pleased to be able to support Doctors Without Borders with our Christmas donation again this year.

Even though there are currently few horror stories circulating in the media, it remains a very great challenge to heal the psychological wounds, especially of displaced persons.
