The consolidation in the German hosting market continues. The dogado GmbH, based in Dortmund, acquired the Alfahosting GmbH from Halle (Saale) in October 2017. Following numerous other acquisitions in recent years, the dogado Group has positioned itself as one of the leading hosting companies in the German market.

The Alfahosting GmbH, based in Halle (Saale), is one of the most reputable web hosting providers in Germany. The company has built an excellent reputation among its customers, particularly in the private sector and SMEs, due to its high customer orientation in support, attractive pricing, and high-performance technology. Even after the acquisition, Alfahosting will continue to operate as a brand. There will be no changes for customers or the 42 employees at the Halle (Saale) location.
