Web Host of the Year 2023: Winners announced

At the election for Webhoster of the Year, held annually on Hosttest since 2015, the winners for 2023 have now been announced. In the ninth edition of the poll, more than 13,000 people cast their vote for their preferred hosting provider this year. This means the number of participants is almost 20 per cent higher than in the previous year, for which we would like to warmly thank everyone who voted for their favourites!

The first place in the Category Web hosting again goes this year to lima-city. The web host thus defends its title successfully for the fourth consecutive time! And also netcup manages, as in the previous year, to take second place. Making its debut on the podium this year is manitu in third place.

In the Category Domains this year easyname has newly entered the podium and takes first place outright, while do.de retains its second place and checkdomain can defend its third place from last year.

With dogado there is also a new winner in the Category VPS hosting, which this time places last year’s winner netcup in second. Third place can once again be defended this year by PHP-Friends.

In the Category Dedicated Server IP-Projects can assert itself in first place for the third time in a row. Newly on the podium we welcome Gamerzhost in second, while third place again goes this year to Bero Host .

Also in the Category Managed hosting the previous year’s winner VC Server Network successfully defends its title. The same applies to Estugo in the Category Shop hosting and webgo in the Category CMS hosting.

A new winner emerges in the Cloud Server category, where Bero Host secures first place ahead of dogado and Lansol .

In the Category Colocation the first place, however, goes again to last year’s winner vServer.site , which prevailed against PHP-Friends and MyLoc managed IT AG to take second and third place.

Finally, let’s take a look at the categories newly introduced this year: Exchange Hosting, Managed WordPress Hosting and Newcomer.

In the Exchange Hosting category Lansol claims first place ahead of IP-Projects and Webspeicherplatz24. The web host WPspace comes out on top in the Managed WordPress Hosting category ahead of akasolution and raidboxes . And in the Newcomer category WPspace also takes the coveted first place ahead of Blackpolar and Petricore .
