Winner Web Hosting Provider of the Year 2020

This year marked the sixth edition of the Web Hosting Provider of the Year award on hosttest since 2015. Despite the current crisis, over 13,000 participants took part in the voting for their preferred hosting service provider.

The big winners of this year's award are once again lima-city, netcup, and dogado with their brands Alfahosting, Checkdomain, and dogado, just like in the record-breaking year of 2019. The newcomer lima-city secured the victory in the most coveted and fiercely contested Web Hosting category for the second consecutive year. On the other hand, netcup managed to excel in multiple categories, winning in Domains, VPS Hosting, and Managed Server categories just like the previous year.
Alfahosting achieved a very commendable second place in the Web Hosting category and emerged as the winner in the Cloud Server category.

Other winners include Bero-Host celebrating their victory in the Root Server category this year, webgo maintaining their unbeaten streak in the CMS Hosting category since 2017, Estugo clinching the coveted victory in the Shop Hosting category, Lansol securing the win as an expert in Exchange solutions, and vServer.site winning the Colocation category.

Given the fierce competition in almost all categories this year, we also want to acknowledge the second and third-placed Web Hosting Providers of the Year. Congratulations to Domain-Offensive, checkdomain, PHP-Friends, Rainbow-Web.com, IP-Projects, Kernelhost, WebhostOne, Hosting Werft, RAIDBOXES, and Active Servers for making it to the podium.
