Web Host of the Year 2023: The winners have been announced

In the Web Host of the Year awards, which have been held annually on Hosttest since 2015, the winners for 2023 have now been announced. In the ninth edition of the awards, over 13,000 people voted for their preferred hosting provider this year. This represents an increase of nearly 20% compared to last year, and we would like to sincerely thank everyone who voted for their favourites!

Once again, lima-city secures the first place in the Web Hosting category, successfully defending their title for the fourth consecutive year! Netcup also maintains their second-place position from last year. Making their debut on the podium this year is manitu in third place.

In the Domains category, easyname claims the top spot this year, with do.de retaining second place and checkdomain holding onto third place from last year.

The VPS hosting category sees a new winner this year with dogado taking the first place, pushing last year's winner Netcup to second place. PHP-Friends once again secures third place.

IP-Projects maintains their first-place position for the third consecutive year in the Dedicated Server category. Joining the podium for the first time is Gamerzhost in second place, while Bero Host retains third place for another year.

Even in the Managed-Server category, last year's winner VC Server Network successfully defends its title. The same goes for Estugo in the Shop-Hosting category and webgo in the CMS-Hosting category.

There is a new winner in the Cloud-Server category, where Bero Host secures the first place ahead of dogado and Lansol.

However, in the Colocation category, the first place once again goes to last year's winner vServer.site, who beats PHP-Friends and MyLoc managed IT AG to second and third place.

Lastly, let's take a look at the newly introduced categories this year: Exchange Hosting, Managed WordPress Hosting, and Newcomer.

In the Exchange Hosting category, Lansol secures the first place ahead of IP-Projects and Webspeicherplatz24. The web host WPspace claims the top spot in the Managed WordPress Hosting category, ahead of akasolution and raidboxes. And in the Newcomer category, WPspace secures the coveted first place ahead of Blackpolar and Petricore.
