Winner Web Hosting Provider of the Year 2022

In the annual Hosttest Web Host of the Year competition held since 2015, the winners for 2022 have now been announced. In this year's edition, which marks the eighth consecutive year of the competition, over 11,000 participants voted for their favourite hosting service provider.

Securing the first place in the Web Hosting category once again this year is lima-city. The web host successfully defends its title for the third time! And in second and third place, we have netcup and alfahosting, both familiar names that have frequently appeared in the top 3 in recent years.

In the Domains category, netcup manages to push last year's winner do.de into second place. Taking third place is checkdomain, returning to the podium where the provider was last seen in 2019.

Another victory this year goes to netcup in the VPS Hosting category. The web host secures the coveted first place ahead of competitors such as ST-Hosting and PHP-Friends, who have also performed well in previous years.

In the Dedicated Server category, last year's winner IP-Projects retains the top spot. Similarly, in the Managed Server category, the reigning champion VC Server Network successfully defends their title.

The Shop Hosting category sees a swap in positions between this year's first-placed Estugo and the second-placed Rainbow-web.com.

Once again this year, webgo emerges as the record winner in the CMS Hosting category. The web host secures a position on the winner's podium for the sixth consecutive year.

With VPS hosting.site in the Colocation category and Alfahosting in the Cloud Server category, the previous year's winners were able to prevail once again in the last two categories.

There was fierce competition in all categories. Special mention should also go to all second and third-placed web hosts of the year in all categories. Therefore, special congratulations also go to Bero Host, WebhostOne, active servers, Lansol and easyname.
