Web host of the year 2024: These are the winners!

The vote for Web Host of the Year 2024 has crowned its winners – and with a new record! For the tenth time the poll took place on hosttest, and this year an impressive 17,000 participants cast their votes. That represents an increase of around 30 percent compared with last year! A huge thank you to everyone who took part and supported their favourites. Once again, this has demonstrated the importance of reliable service and strong performance in the hosting industry!

Also this year lima-city again takes first place in the Web hosting category. This means the web host has defended its title for the fifth consecutive time! As in the previous year netcup again claims second place. Goneo, however, makes its debut on the podium this year, taking third place.

In the Domains category do.de reaches the top of the podium this year and secures first place, while netcup climbs to second place. Checkdomain can defend its third-place position from last year.

Netcup manages to reclaim first place this year in the VPS hosting category. Closely followed by ST-Hosting in second place and IP-Projects in third.

In the Dedicated Server category Vautron surprisingly unseats the three-time previous-year winner IP-Projects, which this time must be content with second place. In third place we welcome webgo.

There are few changes in the Managed Server category, where last year's winner VCServer Network successfully defended its title. The same applies to Estugo in the Shop hosting category and webgo in the CMS hosting category. And in the Colocation category first place again goes to last year's winner vServer.site.

There is a new winner in the Cloud Server category, where dogado relegates last year's winner Bero Host to third place, behind alfahosting.

In the Managed WP Hosting category, introduced last year, WPspace again claims the top spot this year. First place in the Exchange- & E-mail Hosting category goes this year to goneo.

We are particularly pleased to present the newly introduced Austrian Web hosting category this year. First place was secured by easyname, followed by world4you in second place. Third place went to murauerIT – a strong trio that impressively represents the diversity and quality of the Austrian web hosting market.

Competition was intense across all categories. Therefore all the second- and third-placed web hosting providers of the year also deserve special recognition. Our warm congratulations go to WebhostOne, akasolutions and Lansol.
